Finishes, code, measuring, warranty, and how a quote works. If something is not here, call us or send a note from the contact page.
Who we work with
Do you sell to residential and commercial clients?
Both. We work with homeowners on stair and deck railings, and with contractors, commercial, and healthcare buyers who need code-compliant railings and accessibility hardware quoted fast.
Where are you based?
We are based in Montreal, Quebec. We supply and install railings across Quebec, Ottawa and Toronto, and we have been doing it since 2019.
Materials and finishes
What is anodized aluminum, and why use it?
Anodizing runs the aluminum through an electrochemical bath that grows a hard oxide layer into the surface. The colour becomes part of the metal rather than a coat on top, so it will not peel or chip the way paint can, and it resists corrosion and scratches with very little upkeep. That holds up well indoors and out. Our handrails come in five anodized and powder-coat tones plus two wood profiles.
What finishes can I choose?
Five aluminum tones, satin black, satin white, silver, champagne, and architectural bronze, plus two wood profiles, black walnut and red oak. The bracket finish is chosen separately, so you can match the rail or contrast it.
Code and compliance
Are your products built to code?
Yes. We build handrails to a standard height of 32 to 38 inches (815 to 965 mm), with standard 1-1/2 inch (38 mm) wall spacing, and we confirm the exact dimensions for your project and local authority before we install.
What is the correct handrail height?
Most standards put the top of the rail 32 to 38 inches (815 to 965 mm) above the nosing line of the steps, or above the floor on a level run.
Measuring and installation
How do I measure my stairs?
For a residential rail, measure from the nosing of the bottom step to the nosing of the landing. For commercial or accessibility, start a tread depth ahead of the bottom step and extend the rail at least a foot past the top landing. There is a fuller guide on the Installation page.
What is the longest single handrail you make?
A single run goes up to 20 feet (6 m). Longer runs are joined in sections.
Warranty and quoting
What is your warranty?
Handrail components carry a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects, with liability limited to replacement. If something is wrong, contact us with photos and we will evaluate it. Full terms are on the Warranty page.
How does getting a quote work?
Three steps. Share your project with a few photos or plans, we send back a clear no-obligation quote, then we install. Start a quote.
Ready to start your project?
